Pastor Carla Bernal

As Sr. Pastor and co-founder of Jubilee Christian Center, Pastor Carla is well-known for her gift as a passionate, prophetic intercessor and is often referred to as Jubilee’s greatest hidden treasure – a “stealth missile” – whose prayers always hit the mark!  People flock to her for prayer whenever seeing her in service, knowing that she has a gift of healing and a gift for praying for women dealing with infertility or difficulties conceiving.

She married her husband in 1975 and, after graduating from Rhema Bible Training Center together, they returned to the Bay Area to pursue their vision of establishing Jubilee Christian Center.

After years of traveling the world, ministering with her husband, and spreading the gospel, Pastor Carla has come to believe her greatest mission in life is to witness to, and help people who are hurting and lost right here in the Bay Area.  Her greatest desires have always been to see people saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and fulfilling their God-given purpose, which she still does at Jubilee, but she has found a broader audience outside of the church walls that she realizes she may never touch inside Jubilee – the people of the City of San Jose and surrounding Bay Area.

So, if you happen to be looking for Pastor Carla today, you will most likely find her picking up a homeless person, taking them for a bite to eat or providing them with clothing, all the while sharing the love of God, or perhaps praying for the person next to her at the grocery store.  If you still can’t find her… she might just be praying for YOU!
