Beautiful Day will shine on Noble Elementary as Jubilee volunteers tackle a variety of indoor and outdoor projects to give the school a bright and eco-friendly makeover. From the buildings to the playgrounds to the gardens, there are plenty of opportunities to give a boost to the educational environment. Bring your rakes, paint brushes, and tools…or just bring your volunteer spirit! Join Pastor Michelle Bernal and her team to help make Beautiful Day extra special for Noble Elementary.

He is a cross dresser and gay. Last Saturday, he came up to us and asked us to pray for him. He wanted God to take the desire out of his heart. He doesn’t want it anymore. He prayed the salvation prayer with us. And then, a Spanish lady walked in haste toward us and said that she needed somebody to pray for her. We also prayed for another homeless person for employment and he got a job. He came over to our station and shared his testimony. We served chicken noodles soup and dinner rolls from Costco. They really liked it. Towards the end we only have broth left and they still wanted some. Oh and one other thing, a young lady came over and she wanted to help us giving out water. She’s not a Christian and Daniel (Dale’s brother) ministered to her. It was just an awesome experience. The funds came from our personal wallet. Which makes it even sweeter. People from my work also donate some cash for this cause. It’s not much- but God is an expert in multiplication.

Dear Jubilee Family,

I have some sad news.  Bob and Tomoe Dunning have notified us that their son Stephen was killed in Afghanistan yesterday.  He was a Marine in the 2nd Explosive Ordinance Division (the guys who defuse bombs), 2nd Marine Landing Group, Company G, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines.

It is a tragic loss and every parent’s worst nightmare.  I have a son in the Marine Reserve and another son who is ready to go active duty Air Force.  Because of my prior military and police service, I understand loss.  Please keep Bob and Tomoe in your prayers and let them know you care.  The comforting thought is that Stephen knew the Lord! Amen!

Since they serve as Lead Ushers, our support team is working on getting meals and going over to their house to lend comfort.  I have prayed with Bob and his family and they are doing the best they can in a situation as difficult as this.
